The Four Corners Region

Just far enough out of the way...

To Be Close To Everything

The Ute and Navajo tribes of the Southwest historically considered this area a major trading center. When viewed on a national scale, Cortez is remotely centered between several large cities, several mid-range cities, many other small towns, numerous nationally known parks, and Lake Powell. All of these are easily accessible by automobile or air travel, but still offer enough distance to maintain the rural setting, safe family orientation, and excellent retirement setting.

Within the diverse palette of colorful deserts, rolling farmlands, 14,000 foot mountain peaks, and ancient plateaus, is accessibility to world-class exploration, hiking, mountain biking, cycling, skiing, fishing, hunting, golfing, photography, archeology, rafting, boating, kayaking, climbing, gaming, flying, and much, much more. Recreation is only a step away.
